Alex Bury Great Britain Flag European Championships 2025

Alex has been selected to play for a second year in the IFAF European championships in Austria in September. This is his second time representing Great Britain, this time for the u17s.

Alex's dream is to represent the Great Britain Flag team in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The European championships are vital in his pathway to achieving this dream.

Alex's hard work, dedication and passion knows no bounds. He's a true leader and embodies what this sport is all about.

Unfortunately there is no funding for the Great Britain team at youth level and the trip is completely self funded. The cost of travel, kit and competition is in excess of £1200. Any donations to help Alex in his journey would be massively appreciated and go a long way.

A word from Alex himself..

"My goal has always been to be the best flag player I can be and represent my country at the highest level. Unfortunately the only way I can do this is with the support of those kind people that are willing to help. I've dedicated myself over the last decade to a career of flag football, training at every given opportunity I can. I'm so appreciative of my coaches and those who have made this happen so far. I'd like to kindly ask for any help that can get me to my goal of Olympic flag football by attending the 2025 European Championships in Austria ".
