Save our 3 pregnant sisters from the War in Gaza

Donation protected
Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for assistance. My best friend, Eman Alatbash and her husband Salem, reside in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada. Eman, a hard-working wife and mother to a two-and-a-half-year-old toddler, is also expecting another child in May 2024 (God willing). Like other Palestinians living in the diaspora, Eman and her husband Salem support their families financially in Gaza, Palestine, while navigating the challenges of life, university, and work.

During the last 83 days, both Eman and Salem families have confronted a series of displacements since October 2023, enduring harsh conditions that have left them without essential provisions like food, water, and electricity.

Regrettably, on November 14, 2023, Eman experienced a profound loss as her brother, Ahmed Alatbash (25 years old), was tragically shot and killed in the war on Gaza while evacuating with his father, Saad Alatbash (Abu Ahmed).

On December 17, 2023 Salem also lost his brother Mohammed (23 years old) from a tank strike while trying to search for internet connection so he can reach his brother Salem in Canada.

Eman’s father Saad Alatbash, a dedicated father, faced a devastating setback with the loss of his son Ahmed. Additionally, he lost his primary source of income due to the destruction of his car by an Israeli tank. Compounding the hardship, the car is still under installments which Mr. Alatbash must pay off the vehicle in full despite his challenging financial situation.

I am humbly reaching out to you during this critical period to request your support in helping Eman's and Salem’s families in relocating them to a safer place, away from the impending danger they are currently exposed to and to rebuild their lives.

Eman, her father Saad Alatbash, and her younger brother, Mohammed Alatbash.

Eman with her mother Naheel, sisters Mona, Manal, and her nieces and nephews.

Eman's nieces and nephew deserve a safe home.

Salem's sister, Sameeha, her husband Mohamad, and son Tayseer.

Salem's nephews deserve safety.

Left is Mohamad Alnawati who was killed by an airstrike. His mother, Mona Nawati, and his brother Bashar and Feras.

Thank you for considering this urgent appeal.
