Aidens 21st Birthday fundraising for REDKITE

May is a very special month for our family, on the 16th we will be celebrating Aiden’s 21st Birthday. Our plan was to honour him with a “casino” themed night while accepting donations for the beautiful team at Redkite. Unfortunately due to the worlds current circumstances we cannot have our casino night, but we certainly can do everything in our power to help out this awesome charity and, in turn, young people facing cancer.
Aiden was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma in July 2018 and fought this until his passing in October 2019. During his treatment, Redkite assisted and supported Aiden and our family in so many ways, and now we wish to show our support back to them.
Providing essential support to children with cancer, and their families, has been Redkite's focus for over 30 years. We're here throughout the whole cancer journey, from the moment of diagnosis until after treatment finishes.
Their support services include:
-Financial assistance to cover essential costs
-Information, counselling and group support
-Support to keep education on track
-Support through grief and loss
-Diagnosis support packs
-Support in hospital through social workers and music therapists.
