Dearest community, in June of 2024 Terra and family lost their daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. Catelynn shined bright, felt deeply and connected people with art and music ✨ Catelynn Jade, she had been earthside for just 22 yrs and despite her short life her impact was felt in so many ways.

I humbly write this not on behalf of Terra, but on behalf of those that love her and Kinley. Some of you know Terra, others may not but, this isn’t about that, this is about individuals helping individuals, about parents helping parents, women helping women, and all those that understand the devastation childloss causes in one’s universe helping a fellow grieving mother.

There are so many unimaginable things one has to do after the loss of a child, if you don’t know what these are, I’m grateful, to those that do, no explanation is needed. And now the time has come where Terra needs to release, ground, grieve, and celebrate her daughter. Due to the extenuating circumstances around Catelynn’s death and the trauma of losing her so suddenly she is just now starting that process.

Unfortunately, there are numerous costs associated with putting together a celebration of life. Many friends and family that knew Catelynn are flying from out of state and are important pillars of support for Terra and Kinley. Funds will help cover the cost event venue, food, lodging, airfare, and making copies of Catelynn’s art so it can be displayed and given out at the event. The event will be held on August 16th in the Rogue Valley.

It takes a village to raise a child, and it takes a village to grieve one. Let’s come together and help Terra by relieving some of the financial burdens of life, to nourish her and Kinley and remember and honor CJ with her out loud.
