Aid Megan and Family in Overcoming Hardship

Hello

My name is Megan Whitacre. On social media, I am also "Mad Scientist 444" on Facebook and other social media sites.

I am a stage 4 Sarcoidosis patient with Pulmonary Hypertension and Pulmonary Fibrosis. I have spent the last 5 years fulfilling my dream of traveling the US to help others in laboratories in 5 states since Covid began. This was to follow in the footsteps of my father and grandfather. They traveled the world with the Navy for almost 50 years combined.

Daily, I look at my grandfather's medals that Hagerstown, Maryland got to me when we were still in Winchester, Virginia. He was a Mason, Shriner, Scottish Rite, and more in Cumberland, MD. On Navy memorial search George Earl Boore and it lists many of his medals and honors. He used to travel with sick children to Shriners hospitals regularly. I was with him when he took his last breath when I was 19.

After working in Luray Caverns, Virginia for the first year of Covid, my family left with me to fulfill my final wish of my career to travel to help across this great nation. We first went to New Jersey and I assisted at Monmouth Medical Center as a microbiologist and extended my assignment once under an essential personnel license during Covid.

Then, we traveled to New Orleans. I worked at NOEH under an emergency Covid license and then for New Orleans Children's Hospital after I acquired my Louisiana State Medical License once Covid was lifted.

Hardship with travel began there when we took in our elderly family member who had no one. He was driven down to us in New Orleans and dropped on our apartment doorstep.

I went on to work for Indian Health Services in South Dakota during crisis temperatures over the holidays for Christmas 2022 and New Year's 2023.

The new year changed the budget and I had to make my own way back to New Orleans by bus because they needed a nurse more at that time. I was flown in 2 days before Christmas, under emergency circumstances to get me there. Coming home by bus, I got robbed in Atlanta, Georgia of almost all of my luggage that had my uniforms and all for work.

We continued our path to help in Illinois. I lost my jobs in January after about 30 were laid off. It was a 2-year to permanent position and by the end, I was extremely ill and my brain wasn’t working right. We realized how bad that home is contaminated once we were out. In fact, it is still vacant and now we officially obtained our first civil rights charge out of Chicago that we sign and turn back to them Monday. I have screenshots and we will share it all. Fox News wasn't interested the one time I called and tried to share our story. So let's see if humanity still exists with social interaction right from this room and pray we get assistance we are entitled to finally as AMERICANS! WE DID GOOD. Please help get us home. I have not seen my mother since 2021 when we left for New Orleans.

We got moved here to Illinois from New Orleans and our family is back east. We are stuck here and still sick from chemicals repeatedly used at our rental of over 2 years. We have video footage of begging the spraying to stop and of that night when all of the men with me got ill. I had passed out 3 times a couple of days before. That was the 3rd attack in one week and even after calling the police they let him still spray the "detergents."

All we want to know is what these chemicals did to us and heal. We need somewhere to care for our wheelchair-bound elderly family member. He said he wants others to know what is being done. So here goes nothing. Tonight we begin to set up and share across social media without news media again.

In that house, horrible things were happening and we have spent since February to get our elderly family member home to us safe to then expose the issues we found in the home.

One video, my 1st Facebook live on my page, to help get our elderly family member home escalated what was being done to us in that small town. Now it is time for us to share the sensitive video footage and we are praying then we can finally get the help we need to rent a truck and get back home to our family back east and begin again.

We will volunteer and help others wherever help can be found that we can be until we get to head home.

We are scared and homeless due to retaliation by our landlord, a local hospital where our family physician was (he no longer is at that practice after months of complications), and others that helped him. Just because he knows people it doesn't make what he did to us right!

Myself and my father-in-law-to-be have had palliative care ordered and held from us since June 2025 again for me and for him since August when they ordered it for him.

Rather than help us heal and move on they have kept any and all help from us. They even held incontinence supplies from March until the day after the court hearing where they continued to allow my landlord to commit perjury.

They gave me 5 minutes for our side of the case since Land of Lincoln dropped me. LOL did not want to do a Landlord Retaliation Case. That is what this has all been with the help of all of his connections in that small town.

He still texts me with threats. They evicted one of us from a hospital bed. The 2 of us that are stage 4 and have palliative care ordered weren't even on the eviction notice.

The system has been used against us for fighting for an elderly man that was hurt by improper care. Anytime we fought they did stuff to hurt him.

We will post all video footage and begin sharing live on social media tonight and pray before we are on the street again in 3 days someone will finally help. I have my grandfather’s marine/navy medals, masonic ID, and Shriner ID.

I have land of my father's left to me in will I am trying to get to. There is so much to this story that will have to come to be known or I truly feel at least one of the 2 of us that are sick the most from the chemicals used on us will not survive.

Any donation is something that will give us hope. Even a dollar is appreciated. God Bless America and together we can rebuild a great nation to make sure others do not suffer as we have by a man and his wife from another country.

To me it feels like domestic violence. To the police, they said even as a previous domestic violence victim it isn't because he wasn't in a relationship. He still texts me and I don't answer. They said I can leave my loved ones to be free and have shelter for myself only.

Please God keep us together. It takes the 4 of us to care for each other now. We all have lasting damage from the chemicals.
