On July 18, 2025, our family was struck by a sudden and devastating tragedy. My brother’s wife, Malia Heim, was hit by a car and lost her life. The shock and pain of her passing is something we are still trying to process. She was loving, kind, and full of life — taken far too soon.

We are raising funds to help cover the costs of her cremation and a simple, dignified memorial service. Our goal is $5,000, which will go directly toward giving Malia Heim the respectful farewell she deserves.

This loss has hit our family hard, not just emotionally but financially. My brother is already the primary caregiver for our disabled mother, who is currently battling cancer. He’s doing his best to hold everything together, but he cannot do this alone.
