Hi, my name is Kodie. I never wanted to be in the position of having to ask for help, but here I am — humbly reaching out to my community, friends, and even strangers with kind hearts.

For the past 15 years, I’ve been raising my four children in the same apartment. It has been our safe place, filled with memories, laughter, and love. Recently, I was told that our lease will not be renewed because the building needs repairs that cannot be done with us living inside. After all these years of paying rent and building a life there, my kids and I are suddenly faced with losing our home.

As a single mom of four, I’ve always worked hard to provide for my children and give them stability. But now we are being forced to move, and we need to find a safe and stable home before the end of November. The financial burden of moving, deposits, and securing a new place is more than I can handle on my own right now.

This GoFundMe is to help us cover moving expenses, deposits, and the cost of starting over in a new home. My children deserve a place where they can feel safe, settled, and at peace — where they can sleep soundly at night, focus on school, and keep chasing their dreams without fear of not having a place to live.
