Derek Keith Family

On August 26th, we sadly lost Derek A. Keith (39) unexpectedly following surgery performed one week prior.  This extraordinary man was taken far too soon and will be missed by all. He was an amazing husband, father of two & dear friend to everyone he came into contact with.  He has touched the lives of so many and will always be remembered for his sense of humor, positive attitude, fun loving spirit, unwavering generosity & unmatched loyalty. He overcame many obstacles during his 19 year career in the United States Marine Corps. Derek’s active military career culminated in the rank of MSGT and included deployments to several war zones and marine security duties at the US Embassies in Burundi, Costa Rica and Germany. His proudest accomplishment was meeting and marrying the love of his life Karen during his service in Berlin and being a great father to his two beautiful children, Peyton (9) and Heidi (7).
