Access to Menstrual Hygiene & Reproductive Rights

Period poverty, the lack of access to menstrual products and proper hygiene management, is a pervasive issue affecting many individuals around the world. It is a harsh reality that menstruation, a natural bodily process, can become a barrier to education, health, and fulfillment of one’s potential due to financial constraints and limited resources. Women, girls, and marginalized communities bear the brunt of this inequality, which further perpetuates gender disparity and hampers social progress as a form of reproductive injustice.

We're raising funds to provide access to menstrual hygiene products in marginalized communities, establish free period product access in public middle and high school bathrooms, and host reproductive rights and menstrual hygiene workshops for young and/or marginalized communities. We've launched a fundraiser to tackle period poverty head-on and make a lasting impact in the lives of those in need, these funds are essential for us to reach thousands and potentially millions with our organization's work. Provide Menstrual Products to the Homeless:

By procuring and distributing safe, organic menstrual hygiene products to homeless shelters and organizations, we can alleviate the financial and medical burden faced by individuals experiencing homelessness. Your contribution will provide them with a sense of comfort, dignity, and one less worry on their challenging journey. Together, we can break the cycle of period poverty and ensure that no one is denied their right to manage their menstruation safely and with dignity.

Create Free Period Access in Schools:

We aim to collaborate with schools to install free period product dispensers in their bathrooms. This initiative will ensure that students who menstruate have easy and discreet access to the products they need without having to walk across their schools to get to the nurse's office with fear of another bleed. By reducing absenteeism and promoting equality, we can create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all. Our goal is to eliminate the barriers that prevent students from fully participating in their education due to lack of access to menstrual products.

Host Reproductive Rights and Menstrual Hygiene Workshops:

Education is a powerful tool in combating period poverty. With your support, we can organize workshops in underserved communities and high schools, providing accurate information on reproductive rights, menstrual health, and hygiene practices. These workshops empower individuals with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their reproductive health, promote menstrual hygiene management, and dispel myths and misconceptions surrounding reproductive injustice and menstruation.
