ACCEPT @ NACAC 2018

I'm Marie Bigham, founder and leader of ACCEPT: Admissions Community Cultivating Equity & Peace Today.  I'm based in New Orleans where I'm a school-based college counselor, but ACCEPT is located everywhere a person might attend college.

An anonymous donor has offered up to $5000 in a dollar-to-dollar matching donation! What could $10,000 do for ACCEPT? With $10,000, ACCEPT can:
--File our IRS paperwork to become a real not-for-profit, which is the biggest deal ever
--Trademark our name and logo, protecting our group from "squatters" who might try to co-opt our identity

First, your funds will be used to pay for ACCEPT's costs running our meeting at the NACAC conference -- printing handouts, facilities and rentals, and other items to raise awareness of ACCEPT at the conference. After the conference, your funds will pay for legal fees associated with filing our IRS and trademark paperwork. Any funds remaining will pay for shipping of wristbands and software subscriptions that keep us going.
