As many of you may have heard, Amanda was brutally attacked at her apartment complex on December 17th in a domestic violence incident. As a result of this attack, she suffered 12 lacerations, seven of which required plastic surgery, and she spent three nights hospitalized. Her recovery will be long and both physically and emotionally demanding.

Amanda will be out of work for many weeks, possibly months and while life pauses, the bills do not. She will require ongoing medical follow-ups, therapy appointments, and continued care for the foreseeable future. This is a difficult road, but Amanda has shown incredible strength and courage throughout this experience. She is a kind, beautiful soul who would help anyone at any time, and now she needs support from her community.

Despite everything she has endured, Amanda refuses to hide. By sharing her story publicly, she hopes to help others find strength and remind survivors that they are not alone.

This GoFundMe has been created to help Amanda cover expenses such as, living costs while she is unable to work, and to assist with moving and/or rebuilding the inside of her apartment to help create a sense of safety. Donations will help ensure her bills do not fall behind during this healing process and will support her as she focuses on recovery.
