The Abergel Family

Yesterday, we got the tragic news that our best friends dad, Ilan Abergel, died in a terrible work accident. Ilan, who was the loving father of my three friends, the loving  husband of his wife, Shuli, and the second dad I could always tell anything to and considered my family, was truly one of the most amazing people I have ever personally met. I don’t remember a time coming to the Abergel house where he didn’t have a smile on his face. He was always joking around, always happy, and always wanted to be the best dad, husband, and person he could possibly be. During the 10+ years I have known this family, I realized one thing about Ziv, Gal, and Paz, his three loving sons; they love to talk about their beautiful family. I cherish this love they have for their family, and I now realize that this love for family and friends was taught by their beautiful father Ilan, Zichrono Livracha. The purpose of this gofundme is to support this beautiful family financially, with the money raised going directly towards the transport of Ilan’s body to Israel, the funeral costs in Israel, and the flights for the family members traveling from Chicago to Israel.
