Abdulrahman Hijazi is a promising and ambitious student from Gaza. He graduated from high school in 2023 with an exceptional grade: 98.6. But only a month after starting his studies at the engineering department of Islamic University, the war on Gaza started, and he lost the life he and his family worked so hard to achieve.

My name is Abdul Rahman Hijazi, a Palestinian from Gaza, and a student at the Islamic University. I began my studies at the Faculty of Engineering in 2023. I only studied for about a month until this terrible war started, which destroyed my dreams, my ambitions, and my hopes of becoming an architect.
The occupation army invaded our house and burned my room, destroying all my things, including my books. Then, they bombed it. My family and I ended up living in a small tent, and then another, and another… We were displaced more than ten times, and now we live in a tent in Rafah. My university has been completely destroyed.
I’m supposed to be a regular student studying architecture like other students, but instead I live in a small tent with my family and work just to keep myself and my family fed. I haven’t studied in seven months.
I want to leave Gaza as soon as possible and continue my education, but all my family's financial resources are now depleted. Please help me leave Gaza, so I can continue studying, continue my path, and make something beautiful of my life. I want to help rebuild Gaza, and provide for my family. Thank you.
This Go Fund Me page has been created Abdulrahman’s international friends, who want to help this promising and kind young man achieve his dreams. Please donate today to help Abdulrahman and his family!
