Service Dog and Travel
Donation protected
On April 2, 2014, we lost our service dog Ajax to cancer. He was taken from us way to soon. Ajax was a very loving, autism service dog and helped not just 1 but 2 of my children. He will always be greatly missed.
Yesterday, June 11, 2014, I received a call from the Caine Companion for Independence (CCI) and was told they have a new service dog waiting for us. The dog is free to us, he comes fully trained and ready to work and play. We have to pay for Room and Board for 16 days, gas money to drive to Ohio, gas during our stay and new items for the dog in the hotel. Normally a family has 3 years to prepare for this expense. We have less then 2 months.
All funds will be used for this trip and expenses that come with it. If we have funds left over it will be donated to CCI to help train other dogs for families in need. Thank you, in advance for any help you can give.
