Hello, my name is Emily, and I am the wife of Justin Kuhn.

My husband recently passed away, and I want to honour his memory in a way that reflects the joy we shared together. One of our favourite things to do was go for walks—simple, peaceful moments that meant the world to us. His favourite park became a place where we laughed, talked, and found comfort.

I am raising funds to dedicate a park bench in his memory at his favourite park. My hope is that this bench will serve as a place where family, friends, and even strangers can sit, reflect, and feel the same peace that we found there. It will be a lasting tribute to the love we shared and the kindness he brought into the world.

Any contribution, big or small, will help make this memorial possible. A donation of $9,000 will fund a personalized dedicated bench for 10 years. My goal is to have a dedicated bench maintained for at least 20 years.

The City of Vancouver requires a minimum of $9,000 to dedicate a park bench. This contribution will ensure the bench is placed in my husband’s favourite park and maintained for 10 years. Once the goal of $9,000 is reached, I will work directly with the City of Vancouver to make the arrangements and bring this memorial to life.
