A Midnights Dream - a Lego Movie

A LEGO MOVIE, the dream as a kid I always desired to achieve. I’m George and i’ve been working as a concept artist and 3d modeller in Cardiff for a couple of years now but I really want to show my talent as a creator. I am creating a short film based off of a song by the Maccabees called Toothpaste kisses. This song completely inspired the creation of this story, a story I would like to share with all of you.

With the money donated, I will use it to help develop the visuals to an industry standard.

I will be using a combination of Gravity Sketch and Mecabricks to design all of the sets, with help from a crew of master builders. Then, I will be animating and rendering it all in blender with help from some Mecabricks add ons.

The money raised will be used for:

-Purchase of Mecabricks add-ons including

- Blender advanced Mecabricks add on ($25.00]

- Mecalizer ($35.00)

- Mecaface ($25.00]

-To obtain a Mater license for the song Toothpaste Kisses by the Maccabee’s (indeterminate amount) £600 - £3000

I project the project to take me 5-6 Months to complete meaning that a portion of the money donated will also go towards helping this project become a supplement source of income as well as being able to pay the people who also work on the project.

As a creator, i just want the opportunity to create and share that journey with all of you.
