A Hopeful Winter

Over 1.6 billion people worldwide don’t have access to safe, adequate housing—and 150 million are living on the streets, according to the United Nations Human Settlements Programme.

In Philadelphia and Norristown, PA, the number of homeless individuals has risen by 20% in recent years. Right now, there are approximately 5,600 men, women, and children in our community alone who are facing homelessness.

This crisis is not something we can ignore. These are our neighbors, our fellow human beings—and together, we can bring them hope.

That’s why I’m dedicated to launching a donation drive, collecting essential items through mid-November to ensure that those without a home have the basics they need to survive this winter. We’re also working to raise funds to buy food in bulk, which will be distributed alongside the other donations.

Every single contribution, no matter how small, will make a tangible difference in someone’s life.
