A Father's Fight: Help Us Cover His Cancer Treatment

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I am reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my father. He is about to turn 65—an age where he should be looking forward to rest and peace after a lifetime of hard work. Instead, he is facing the toughest battle of his life.

In October of last year, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. What followed was not just a fight against the disease itself, but also a battle with the healthcare system to get him the proper treatment he desperately needed. After months of struggle and delays, he finally underwent surgery in February. However, what should have been a step toward recovery brought devastating news—his cancer had spread to his bladder.

My father is a hardworking immigrant and a devoted father of five. He has spent his life providing for us, working tirelessly to ensure our family’s well-being. Even through his illness, he continued to push forward, refusing to let cancer define him. Now, he faces an uphill battle with more medical treatments ahead, and the financial burden is overwhelming. Me and the rest of my family continue to provide endless support, but even then the future is unbecoming.
