UMBRAL FOUNDATION FOR GOOD LIVING

Help Us Build a Home for Education, Community and Regeneration

A Collective Dream That Can Transform Hundreds of Lives

In the mountains of Córdoba, Argentina, a diverse network of social, environmental, educational, cultural and productive organizations has decided to take a historic step: creating a permanent space where people can gather, learn, produce, care for nature and build a better future together.

That space is called Umbral Foundation for Good Living.

For more than twenty years, we have worked throughout our communities promoting popular education, agroecology, environmental protection, community culture, cooperative economics, forest fire brigades, gender equality and human rights projects, family support and youth participation.

Today, we have the opportunity to acquire a unique property that can become the shared home for all of these initiatives.

And we need your help to make it possible.

What is Umbral?

Umbral is a network of people and organizations who believe that the great challenges of our time — environmental crisis, social fragmentation, inequality, loss of community spaces and gender-based violence — require collective responses.

We are creating a Community, Educational and Cultural Center open to everyone, where programs that promote sustainability, inclusion and collective well-being can flourish.

We are not starting from zero.

The projects already exist.

People are already participating.

The network is already built.

The community is already committed.

What is missing is a permanent home that will allow these efforts to grow, connect and multiply their impact.

What This Space Will Make Possible

With your support, we will be able to develop:

Environmental education and biodiversity conservation

Gender equality and human rights training

Agroecology and sustainable food production

Arts, crafts and ancestral knowledge workshops

Programs for youth, children and families

Community gathering spaces and civic participation

Cooperative and social economy projects

Forest fire brigades and environmental protection initiatives

National and international volunteer exchanges

Cultural, educational and therapeutic activities

A community dining program

New projects emerging from community participation

Our Goal: USD 100,000

The property we have identified offers the ideal conditions to host this long-term community project.

Every contribution will support:

Property acquisition

Legal and administrative expenses

Essential infrastructure improvements

Launch and strengthening of community programs

We will share regular updates to ensure transparency and show the progress of each stage.

What We Already Have

Our foundation already has significant equipment, infrastructure and experience ready to be activated:

An artisanal agroecological mill, scales, bag sealing equipment, stainless steel worktables and storage shelving

An electric kiln for glass, clay and ceramic work

A processing plant for bottled crushed tomatoes, jams and preserves

Carpentry, metalworking, construction, textile and screen-printing tools

Equipment and supplies for horticulture and beekeeping production

Expertise in gender equality, environment, biodiversity, human rights, arts, trades, production and cooperativism

Furniture for classrooms, meetings and community events

A fully equipped community kitchen

A convection oven for cookies, cakes and baked goods

A commercial bakery oven for bread production

Projector, sound system and screen

Beekeeping and honey extraction equipment

Acquiring the property will allow us to consolidate these ongoing efforts, provide continuity and create a sustainable future for the project.

Why Donate?

Because your contribution is not simply buying a building.

Your support helps create a place where people can meet, learn, share knowledge, strengthen community ties, create opportunities and care for the natural environment.

You are helping build a space that will continue generating impact for many years.

A place where solidarity becomes action.

A place where new generations can grow with values of cooperation, respect and commitment to life.
