A Cause Worth Fighting For

To those of you who know, Topeira Boxing Club is being evicted and has been forced to close its doors. The gym currently owes $7,000 in fees and will not be able to remain open if that payment isn't made.

From our humble beginnings in a garage, to the gym we know today, Topeira Boxing Club has been our home away from home for over five years. It is a home where champions are made through blood, sweat and tears. A home where only hard work is accepted. A home where dedication and self discipline are one of the same. Beyond that, it's a home where we have come together as a team to support each other in our struggles inside and outside the gym. Without this home, we lose our ability to prove who we really are; fighters who never accept defeat.

If we are able to raise the funds within a week, we have a legitimate chance of keeping the gym open, but none of us can face this opponent alone. There is no magic dust that will get us out this problem, but we are fighters. We fight with a purpose, and our home is a purpose worth fighting for. 

Now is the time for action, but hope is not a plan, and failure is not an option.
