A Beautiful Soul Extinguished Too Soon

This amazing, beautiful and compassionate young woman’s life was ended way too early through a senseless act of violence. Sadly, nothing could be done to save her precious life. 

Meagan (Maggie) Soik passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020. 

Her parents, brothers and sister along with her extended family and many friends are completely devastated. An entire community grieves for her and those who loved her. 

Maggie lit up any room with her beautiful green eyes, infectious smile and quick wit. She adored her family, especially her younger brothers, and was a devoted friend. She was known for her love of nature and animals. She loved rescuing animals and finding them good homes. Some made their forever home with her including her dog Harry and her beloved cats Paul, Max and Lincoln. She was known to also adopt withering plants and bring them back to life. She loved expressing her artistic side through painting and drawing. Sadly, the lives of those who know and love her are considerably less vibrant now.

This GoFundMe account has been established by friends closest to the family and is intended to assist them with final expenses. With excess funds, their desire is to leave a legacy by paying it forward through supporting causes near and dear to Maggie’s heart. The direct beneficiary will be her parents with the funds available to them only.
