A beautiful memorial for Lara K
Donation protected
Lara struggled on and off with heroin addiction for over a decade. The last three years of her life she had been sober and prosperous, donating every ounce of herself to helping people to achieve recovery. On November 9th of 2017, she lost her battle against addiction after one fatal use.
Today her closest friends are trying to honor her life by planning a memorial in her honor. We are trying desperately to raise money to provide her with a service that is as beautiful as the last three years we had with her. We hope to show her family who lives out of state just how loved and valued she was as well as allow our community to say their farewells.
Any money raised that does not directly go to the memorial will be donated to Dawn Farm recovery center, the treatment center that never gave up on her and helped her to achieve a moment of peace within recovery.
