Zoë's KIDneys Both Need a Home

Spende geschützt
Since donating a kidney to my oldest son Dec 2009 it's been challenging keeping up with the bills. We're losing our house. Last October, after a work injury, my employer demanded I sign a contract stating that I will only work for them. I couldn't agree to that which forced me to resign or sign a contract I couldn't uphold.  I need all three of my jobs to make my mortgage and monthly bills and keep a roof over both our heads.  Since not working full-time I haven't been able keep up. To prevent us from becoming homeless I'm turning to fundraising. Hence, "Keeping my KIDneys Together".

The best thing I've done is donate a kidney. It's the worst financial decision of my life. The best part is I still have both of my sons. My youngest is a Army Combat Medic starting his third tour of Afghanistan.

I'm figuring out now, how to get my life back on track. Additionally a credit card I had been paying $200/month on has levied all the money in my bank accounts last week.  No way to buy gas or groceries is even more exciting than losing a house. Much more acute situation. I know you wish you didn't know that. On top of that the old employer, who wanted me to work only for them, is suing me for working while I was injured. I've made decisions where I saw no alternative. I did what was necessary. It doesn't change my situation but the alternatives were, having one less son and already being homeless! I'm  praying this is the absolute bottom of the fallout from my injury and from here on out things will be brighter! Thanks for reading, helping and sharing! Hugs, Zoë
