ULTIMATE THREAT DANCE ORGANIZATION

Donation protected
The Ultimate Threat Dance Organization was established in 2010 by Verndell N. Smith II. Verndell was born in Elizabeth New Jersey, but later moved to Chicago IL at the age of 6 years old. He was heavily influenced by the R&B era, admiring dance moves from Usher, Chris Brown, B2K, Michael Jackson and many more artists.

After his love for dancing grew, years later he joined a dance team, took lead and his prominent leadership led him and his team to spearheading music videos, performing on 106 & Park, and placing in one of the largest African American competitions in the world (Bud Billiken Parade).

His expertise in dance later then influenced the start of his own organization, terming the phrase “Stop Killin and Start Dancing” in reference to Chicago’s violence over the last few years. He opened his own dance studio, where his team placed first in many dance competitions throughout the Chicago area, highlighted in the Chicago Defender Newspaper, performed at the Apollo Theatre in New York, and has become an internet sensation in Chicago known for Hip Hop, Footwork & Majorette categories.

Purpose extended:

This organization is asking for your help in raising funds to remodel, construct and host a facility in their name. This facility will host programs for the youth, provide a learning and creative space for young artists, host classes and offer rental space for other dance organizations and groups.

Hello Everyone,
We are asking for donations to assist us in our competition season. Last year we participated and had an awesome time.

However, the summer is over we cant fundraiser in the street. We need help to keep our dance studio open and community support to teach a different level. Therefore, we need help! Anything helps! What we are aiming to do is give inner city youth the opportunity to display their talent to the city they know and love. This can't happen without.....You guessed it...YOU!

With that being said, there's tons to do. We need uniforms, signage, videographer , DJ, transportation, and other related fees. We are fundraising in various ways but we are short. Your donation; be it big or small, will make a difference. Dance season fees are costly, so we are asking for your help.

Please donate whatever you can to help us reach our goal while making history! Thank you!
