Treatment with the Chemopump in Zurich, Switzerland

Hi, I'm Andy Kalbvleesch. I have colon cancer that has spread to my liver. I am more or less out of treatment options, and my only hope is a chemo pump suggested by my oncologist in Erasmus Medical center. This device is connected directly to my liver, allowing it to deliver a treatment effect up to 400 times stronger than standard chemotherapy through an IV. This treatment is not yet approved in the Netherlands, but my oncologist in EMC can arrange treatment in Zurich, Switzerland. Unfortunately, the procedure is not covered by insurance. The money I raise will be used to fund my treatment in Switzerland.

There is a possibility that a clinical trial will start in the Netherlands, in which case the costs may be covered by insurance. If that happens, all donations will be given to the Erasmus Medical Center (EMC) to support further research into the chemopump.
