The Ice Box & Suto Legal fees

I am raising funds on behalf of Jenn and Matt Nemeth to help offset the cost of legal fees associated with the frivolous lawsuit that was brought by the East Brooklyn Fire Department and East Brooklyn Fire District. This lawsuit has been ongoing since April 2021. The district, department, and or town have failed to appear to the last 2 court hearings. The first was in October of 2022, in November they requested and extension which was granted and gave them until 4/6/23 when they again failed to appear. They have now been granted another extension until October of this year. Meanwhile this has cost the Nemeths nearly six figures to battle and that will only continue to accrue more legal fees, while the department and district are able to use tax dollars to fund their legal fees. While we see 2 thriving businesses, what you may not see is the overhead costs to maintain those two businesses.
