Why a GoFund Taz?
Because when I was 4 years old and saw the joy I brought my Granny just by using my little hands to rub her sore feet, I told her when I grew up I was going to touch every single person in the world and make them feel better too.
Right now, my small corner of the world is Inglewood, CA; so I’m starting there.
I’ve always wanted the people in my community to be healthy, fit, strong, and well-educated about good health practices; so soon, I’ll be opening Cy’Kling & Train’in by Taz, an Old School Cycling Gym with a New School Twist that will bring fitness, strength training, and health awareness to the underserved people in my community.
What do you mean, “New School Twist”?
Old School: I can’t work out- I’m too old!
New School Twist: Cy’Kling & Train’in by Taz will have special cycling and exercise classes tailored just for senior citizens to keep them active and safe!
Old School: I can’t work out- I don’t have a babysitter!
New School Twist: Cy’Kling & Train’in by Taz will have unique cycling and exercise classes for new moms to take WITH their children that teach healthy ways to care for themselves as they care for their new babies.
Old School: I can’t work out- I don’t know anyone!
New School Twist: Cy’Kling & Train’in by Taz will have game-oriented cycling and exercise classes just for meeting and making new friends.
How good are you?
I’m pretty good. :-)
I’ve been a sports fitness professional since 1999. I’ve worked one-on-one with amateur athletes as well as professional athletes from the NBA, NFL, and MLB; and I’ve also trained and rehabbed directors, actors, and entertainment business professionals.
What’s Your Bottom Line?
$50,000, and I plan on making it go a long way towards purchasing and maintaining studio equipment, building fees, and advertising.
I can’t move mountains, but I CAN move muscles.
I know with your help, I’ll be able to make a difference by changing my small corner of the world for good.
