Sarah is a service connected disabled Army Veteran who is also an awesome single mom, a sweet and caring friend and good member of our community.  She is known for her independence, radiant smile and her warm and positive personality.  It’s quite remarkable that the happy go lucky woman that we see and know is enduring a hard battle behind the scenes with PTSD. She purposely keeps those hardships out of the limelight and focuses on the good in her life. That is what she has allowed us to see of her. What we haven’t seen is that she has gone through a very tough time the past two months. Fortunately she turned to the VA for help but seeking care and dealing with her symptoms have kept her from working as much as she needed. Now she has unpaid bills that are unforgiving and need to be settled.

That is where we come in! Sarah lives modestly, does a wonderful job caring for and loving her teenage daughter. Let’s show our support for our own American hero and contribute what we can towards her one time financial needs. We are confident she will get back into her groove soon but in the meantime, let’s help take some of this stress off her. It’s the season for giving - please share whatever you can! We can all agree she is a very deserving recipient!
