Hello, we are friends of Keith and Elizabeth King and their family.

 

In June of 2020, our precious friend Elizabeth King received a devastating diagnosis of small-cell lung cancer. Her specialist at Cancer Treatment Centers of America says that in 25 years of treating patients she was told they very rarely see this disease in a non-smoker.

There are no surgical options, unfortunately. Due to the COVID pandemic and delays in treatment, doctor visits, and imaging, her final clinical diagnosis was delayed.

Liz spent time receiving treatment at the CTCA (Cancer Treatment Center of America) in Zion, IL -- Mayo in Jacksonville, Florida, -- as well as Froedtert hospital in Milwaukee. They have exhausted most medical treatment options and currently she is part of a clinical trial.

Liz truly is a medical miracle, as she is part of the 2% that has survived with evidence of disease this long.

We are believing that God wants to work another miracle, through alternative and holistic treatments, but the cost is exorbitant and health insurance does not cover any of it. Keith and Liz had wanted to seek these treatments earlier, but the cost was prohibitive. Keith and Liz already have mounting health insurance bills from her current treatments, but the cost of these treatments can reach $50,000 or more.

They have had to quarantine a lot of the time during the pandemic for health and safety reasons, but they have enjoyed visits with their children and grand-children. The hope is that these modern medical advances combined with the move of the Lord will give the King family a miracle.

Keith and Liz have been instrumental in helping MANY families and children in the SE Wisconsin area, including being the former co-director of Agape Home and School for Girls, and at Mt. Zion Christian Church.
