We are setting up this GoFundMe page to support our friend Dave Beckman and his family. They've recently received devastating news: Dave has Stage IV pancreatic cancer. Dave, Laurie, and their children, Eric and Layla, will be facing many challenges as they navigate this difficult situation. A cancer diagnosis can have significant physical, mental, and emotional costs, both for Dave and his family. Financial concerns from unexpected medical costs, missed work, transportation, and an array of other incidentals further compound the burden. This is one challenge we can have a positive impact on.

"Just to provide some more details - in the last 3 months, we went from thinking Dave had indigestion to finding out he has Stage 4 pancreatic cancer that’s also decided to spread to his liver. He has no family history of this and is otherwise healthy so we are not sure why this happened. Even the oncologist was surprised.

It’s a terrible diagnosis, but I am choosing to remain positive and hopeful and trying to take things one day at a time."
