SHP and Hela Relief Fund
On the 26th of February at 3:44am in the morning a devastating magnitude 7.5 earthquake hit three provinces in the largest Pacific island of Papua New Guinea. Two of which being the Southern Highlands and Hela province, taking with it innocent lives, buildings and the familiarity of peoples surroundings.
Victims are still in shock as this is the first time a natural disaster of this magnitude to occur in the region. Survivors need access to emergency supplies such as food, water, and medicine in addition to longer term recovery assistance. All donations to this fund will exclusively support locally driven relief and recovery efforts from this disaster.
