Send Fairport Robotics to Worlds!!

The 2023-2024 Fairport Robotics Team includes almost 40 students from Fairport High School grades 9-12. Since the 2024 Tech Competition challenge was released on January 6, these dedicated kids have spent 15 – 20 hours each week learning to think like engineers. They designed, built, and programmed their robot to compete in an alliance format against teams from around the world.

Their consistent success in scoring, stability, and speed helped them stand out from

among 54 teams competing at the recent Finger Lakes Regional Championship

Tournament held at Rochester Institute of Technology. After being selected for the

top Alliance during finals, the team advanced undefeated to win this regional

competition. As a winning Alliance team, our Fairport Red Raiders were awarded a

spot at the 2024 FIRST World Championship being held April 17–20 in Houston, Texas!

As you can imagine, the students are proud and determined to represent the Rochester region at this prestigious competition. The expenses to bring as many team members as possible to Houston are steep. Your donation will help fund the event entry fee, student travel fees, accommodations, and food, as well as the cost to transport our robot and thousands of pounds of support equipment.
