Poppet's New Legs

Poppet suffers from Legg-Calve Perthes Syndrome and needs surgery before his bones die and he can't adventure around anymore.

About a year and a half ago, Poppet's family realized whenever Poppet was picked up or held, he would let out very loud, painful cries. Poppet suddenly was feeling very upset when being held and cuddled. A few X-rays later, the vet told Poppet's family that he has Legg-Calve Perthes Syndrome, a kittenhood hip disorder that affects blood flow to the femur bone. This lack of blood flow causes intense pain and discomfort in the hip and leg area, and will lead to death of the bone. Surgery is needed to help Poppet resume his adventurous lifestyle. The surgery will remove a part of the bone. The cost of surgery is anywhere from 2-5 thousand dollars. Obviously, this is a large sum of money for Poppet's family to put out, so we are asking for some help to cover the costs so our beloved kitty can continue being the happiest cat on the block.
