Reignite the Aviary!
Tax deductible
SC-C.A.R.E.S. is a Wildlife Rescue & Rehab Center, Educational Animal Sanctuary, Environmental Center and a 501(c)3 non-profit public supported 100% by charity located in the Georgetown area of South Carolina.
We provide a compassionate "no-kill/no-breed" sanctuary for abused, neglected and unwanted exotic and farm animals and non-releasable wildlife, providing a safe caring place in which they can live out their days.
Geronimo and Buzz keep an eye on things for us!
In 2014, SC Cares started building a new aviary for the 13 macaws living at the sanctuary. They need a larger space designed just for them - fresh air, sunshine, and room to spread their wings. The new aviary was started with a grant from ASPCA, continued with generous donations of time and money from volunteers and community members, but is now stalled for a lack of funds to get it finished.

$11,000 dollars is needed to purchase the clear, heavy duty pannels that will create the walls of the aviary as well as a HVAC system for protection from the extreme weather, screening to keep out the insects, and small miscellaneous items to finish the project.
Please consider a donation to reignite this project!
