Rylee Christianson was recently diagnosed with Stage 2 Hepatoblastoma. It is a rare liver cancer. The doctors discovered a 5” tumor on her liver after she had been having vomitting spells. The tumor was pressing against her stomach, not allowing food to pass. The whole tumor was successfully removed, along with  half of her liver. With two rounds of chemotherapy there is only a 10% chance of relapse. She has now finished chemotherapy. An M.R.I.  Of her abdomen and pelvis are scheduled on February 9th, as well and a C.T. Scan of her chest. She will have labwork to check AFP levels to determine the next step in her treatment road map.       REMISSION HERE WE COME!!  (Insert Prayer emoji) She is an amazing 11 year old girl. She is a student at Westville Elementary. She has a love of music and is gifted with an amazing voice and positive attitude. She is truly an inspiration! Throughout all of this she has remained positive and reassures us all that she will make it through. A true fighter!
