Rachel's Cancer Treatment Fund

I was recently diagnosed with Stage IV esophogeal cancer. The only option my insurance will pay for is a type of chemo therapy that has brutal side effects and may only give me a few extra months of life. I was told the disease is incurable and that I may not have long to live.

There is a well respected clinic in California that works with the immune system. It was recommended to me by a friend who is a highly regarded PhD chemist. Their success rate is high. Their treatment works with a person's own immune system as opposed to filling it with carcinogenic chemicals.

I really hate to have to ask, but my savings and credit rating were depleted in the recession and I'm desperate. I don't want to die, but I also don't want to spend my last days being pumped with poisons that will only further weaken my body. Time is short, and my need is urgent.

There's not much more to say. Without the funds to pay for the treatment, I haven't much longer to live. Anything you can give will help.
