The ROMANCE READERS SEEKING BESTSELLER GRANT Fund

The Romance Readers Seeking Bestsellers Podcast's mission is to help authors, especially the 'not yet bestselling' authors get a leg up in the industry. On the show, we talk to super fans about their favorite books, and authors with a new release.

Authoring is hard, and it's not cheap. So Becca and I came up with the FUTURE ROMANCE BESTSELLER'S GRANT. Recipients can use the funds for editing or classes or recovering books or advertising or... really, the list is too long and boring to put here.

We raise money via episode sponsorships (at $10 per sponsor spot), with Patreon membership (at only $3 a month), and now this GoFundMe campaign. Guests from the show make up the voting panel so "winners" of the grant aren't from authors spam blasting everyone they know asking for votes.

Last year's grant recipient received $250.

I hope to have a bigger "check" to give out to this year's recipient - or maybe have 2 recipients. Or maybe quarterly recipients.
