Picking Up The Pieces!

Hi everyone! This is Callie Addleman & Sydney James asking for you to join us in helping out some superstars that we really love! During winter break, our teacher's classroom was vandalized. This is a classroom that is used by two teachers, meaning that like 60 students call this their homeroom! Nearly everything in this classroom from the APPLE COMPUTER to the copy paper and markers were destroyed with water, paint, and other damaging stuff. We would include pictures of what the damage was, but they're not even appropriate for this page because the bad guys did awful things to the room that you wouldn't want to see! Our teachers, Ms. Lacey Peckham and Ms. Leslie Oney taught us in 4th and 5th grade in Steven G. Schorr Elementary School, where I met Sydney and our friend, Macaiah, who is also in the picture and you'll meet her in our video (please watch that, too). We've moved up to Silvestri Junior High now, but these two teachers really made a big difference in our lives and we want to help to make a difference in theirs. They can't teach without the right tools and their students deserve to have all of the awesome stuff that we had. We're busy being 6th graders now, but we're working hard to raise money for them to get things that they need. Sydney is babysitting and selling lollipops, and I'm (Callie) making and selling hair bows and headbands. ALL of the money that we make is also going towards the 'Picking up the Pieces' fund.
