Help Neal Beat Cancer

Neal's been having pain in his chest since September 2017.  After lots of bloodwork and no real answers, they decided to do an MRI in December.  They rushed him to the ER to remove 2 liters of fluid from around his lung.  They found cancer cells in the fluid and a tumor on his lung. There have been two invasive surgeries so far to remove fluid, biopsy the tumor, and to re-inflate the lung. In the past few weeks they've discovered cancer in many parts of his body and it's inoperable.  While they try to decide on a long-term treatment he'll have chemo as a bridge therapy. Neal and his wonderful girlfriend, Elly, are working as much as possible at their jobs to keep themselves afloat, and for Neal to keep his medical benefits.  Neal's dad is helping with rides, co-pays, etc. I, (Neal's mom) am a student at UVU and my professors are being very generous with their attendance policies so I can come up as much as possible to lend emotional support and help with cooking, household stuff, and to help get his music project done. Neal would really love to get his many compositions recorded.  It's something he's been working at for a long time, and he's feeling an urgency to make this contribution to the world. All in all, it looks like we're in for a journey.  The love we've all received already from friends and family is wonderful and very appreciated. To offset the financial stress on the immediate family, and especially on Neal and Elly, and to help Neal to fulfill his musical dreams, we're asking those who are able, to contribute.   Thank you from our hearts.  Your prayers on Neal's and Elly's behalf are especially welcome.
