Mr Logue's memorial fund for Help Musicians
Twickenham School is organising this fundraiser in loving memory of Mr. Jonny Logue who sadly passed away on 15th June this year.
Jonny touched so many lives in such a positive way and will be missed so, so much. Along with his daughters, music was the joy of Jonny’s life. Music can bring levity where there is grief, solace where there is anger and hope when we feel despair. A donation to this charity will help the music to flow and in each sound, Jonny’s memory to live.
The song is ended but the melody lingers on….Jonny Logue. Forever in our hearts.
HelpMusicians is a Charity dedicated to helping young and professional musicians at all stages of their life and career.
It was formerly known as the Musicians Benevolent Fund which existed to provide financial support during times of unemployment. This function will be increasingly important during the Covid19 pandemic as many musicians will not have been able to make an income during this time.
However, the charity now also has a much broader remit. It offers grants and other financial backing for musical projects and ideas. It helps provide mental health counselling for musicians in need of support. It facilitates creative opportunities to hear sounds hitherto unknown. Above all it helps to provide funding for music education and to inspire young people to do something creative, a cause Jonny Logue was passionate about.
