It’s been a long tale…..unfortunately we lost Kara on Sunday the 12th of November.  She leaves behind 3 wonderful kids; Kylie (Scott); Colton and Jaycee (one of our Academy Mortgage family).  She has 2 wonderful grandchildren.  Kara’s children offered to write this, but I said I would do it.  Kara has been a close friend of ours for well over 25 years, not to mention the longevity she had with Cindy Volk and many others.  Kara had been through a rough time, the loss of Ed, the single parenting, the moving to restructure her life, but never loosing track of her primary focus… her children.  Her children didn’t fail her – they may have given her multiple challenges, much like their father.  Please know, that these funds are going to the good of Kara, funeral expenses and for the kids to complete the missions initially planned.
