KZ Retreat for Young Adults Impacted by Cancer

Kolina Orchard and Zeno Mountain Farm have partnered to create a retreat for young adults impacted by cancer  with the hopes of bringing like-minded people together to enjoy much needed respite in rural Vermont. It is designed to provide a healing atmosphere where we all are encouraged to live in the moment and form authentic connections. Young adults are at a time in their lives where they are in school or are working towards a fulfilling career. They are enjoying single life or are starting families. They are young, ambitious, and enjoying their vitality. Young adult cancer survivors have a unique perspective on life. They are still vibrant young adults with a zest for life, but they also have an intimate understanding of how fragile life can be. Kolina Orchard and Zeno Mountain Farm have created this retreat so young cancer survivors can be a part of a safe and fun community created just for them. 

This retreat will be in October of 2018 in Lincoln, Vermont. During this retreat, no one pays and no one gets paid! The money raised will be used for the operations needed to have a successful retreat at Zeno Mountain Farm , outdoor adventures, art classes, food for all the participants and volunteers.  

I realized through my own experience as a caregiver that there were few fun options for young adults impacted by cancer, ages twenty to forty, so I decided to do something about it! Your donations will help them enjoy a safe and fun environment where they can make authentic connections with like-minded individuals.
