Kōkua for Aunty Pua

As most of you know, Aunty Puanani Mahoe is a Kupuna whose life’s work is sharing the spirit of Aloha. She teaches that Aloha is the birthright of all humanity and her vibrant heartfelt message is one of healing, hope, and unity. Pua has been a strong, positive influence in my spiritual growth and I consider her my soul sister and mentor.
This past year she has had severe health challenges and has needed extensive (and expensive) medical intervention including dialysis. She is bouncing back however, due to her strong spirit and her commitment to continuing her work of spreading Aloha. The prognosis is positive and she has been told that if she continues the proper therapies and treatments she can get off the dialysis. When I spoke to her last week I had to laugh, as instead of telling me about her challenges she was sharing her plans for manifesting her dream of creating an international cultural center here on Maui. This is the Aunty Pua that I know and love.
To do this she needs our help. We need to help her family pay for medical expenses and medications and then we need to enable her to come back to Maui and actualize her dream. I created this GoFundMe account as a platform for all of you who know and love Aunty Pua to have a way to help. If you want to do your own fundraisers you can add the proceeds to this campaign. Let’s bring our beloved Puanani home!
