A lot of you may not know but Joe has been very sick for quite some time. He has recently spent 3 weeks at The Mayo Clinic in Rochester Mn.   After a lot of testing Joe was diagnosed with Atypical Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome(aHUS).  This is an extremely rare,life threatening, progressive blood disease.  The drug used to treat this is one of the most expensive drugs in the world.  Joe has been hospitalized in Minnesota due to decreased kidney function.   There is a lot of unknown at this point but I think we should all pull together for Joe and his family.  Joe is such a positive, fun guy that would do anything for anyone and I know he would appreciate it!  I will update you all on his condition occasionally as I get information from Hester.
