Jim & Cathy's 30 Year Anniversary

Donation protected
First and foremost: THIS IS A SURPRISE DO NOT TELL JIM OR CATHY CORR ABOUT THIS.

WHEN SHARING ON FACEBOOK BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR SECURITY SETTINGS SO CATHY CORR CAN'T SEE THIS. Here is a short clip on how to do this: http://screencast.com/t/bDjdEJcd

As you may or may not know my parents, Jim and Cathy Corr, will be married for 30 years on November 2nd, 2015.

This in-itself is truly a fantastic achievement, and a testament to their love, commitment, and marriage. But when considering this feat I realized I don’t have the financial resources to give them the gift that my heart feels they deserve (more about why they deserve this further down the page), a trip to Ireland, a place they both have always wanted to visit.

Please feel free to contact me at anytime for any questions, concerns, etc: (856)-359-6228 or via Facebook messages.

Why am I looking to raise $5,000?
This is a rough estimate of how much money it will take for a basic 7 day trip to Ireland.
Round trip flights are roughly $2,000 for both people.
Room and board is roughly $3,000 for the duration.

How does this work?
Simply donate the amount you’d like to give via the donate button, any amount small or large will help.

Is this safe? Is this secure?
Yes, GoFundMe has many measures in place to make sure this is so. Read more here: http://www.gofundme.com/safety

The timeline looks something like this:
I’m starting this campaign about a year in advance of their 30 year anniversary. In August of 2015 (about 3 months prior to their anniversary on November 2nd) I will reveal this plot and work with them to figure out the details. I will personally make sure everyone who donates will be aware of all details as this progresses.

Why my parents deserve this:
To begin my parents raised my brother and I, which in itself is mind boggling to me but I think they did a pretty good job. Okay – jokes aside, I’ve watched both of my parents work senselessly hard, my Dad has gotten up before 4AM since I can remember and doesn’t come home until after 4PM everyday. Lately my mother is working 50+ hour work weeks as well getting home closer to 8 or 9PM then the usual 5PM. But not only do my parents not only work tirelessly at their jobs, they care about the world. My father has always taught me nothing else matters in this world if you can’t sleep at night. You have to be able to look in the mirror and face who you are, that means day in and day out being honest, giving, and caring. I can’t think of a better representation of my parents then these three words; honest, giving, and caring. They have taken family and friends into our homes, fed countless of my brother and I’s friends for dinner when their parents were no where to be found, cooked dinner for the Ronald McDonald house in Camden more times than I can count, and the list goes on.

Simply put, and excuse my vulgarity; my parents are fucking awesome human beings and they deserve this more than I can put into words.
