It is my dream to travel, and now I have the chance! Saint Augustine once said “The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page”. It is my dream to read as many pages as possible. Now, in my Junior year of high school, I have been presented with the opportunity to go on a trip to Europe  with my french teacher and other classmates in the summer of 2016. I am excited to see the beaches of Normandy in which the turning point of WWII took place. The participants will be taking several educational tours and sightseeing famous monuments, and places. This trip will further my education of other cultures including, but not limited to, language, dress, cuisine, and traditions. By the date of the trip, I would have worked for three years learning the french language and a trip to Europe would both reward and add to my efforts. Any contributions would go towards the education of a young adult hoping to better themselves in culture, education, and of course to have an exciting experience with my teachers and classmates.
