Family of Coral Bay St John USVI
Donation protected
...Sept. 8th brought us great news that my cousin Peter & his young daughter Folksy were alive & safe in their home town of Coral Bay, a close knit community of St John, U.S.V.I.
...Saddly, since then we have been able to speak with Pete briefly: Peter's home was one of the lucky few that are still standing HOWEVER everything else is pretty much gone.
There is no power or running water.
*Estimates of no electricity for at least 4 months.
Food & Fresh water is running out
....The community of Coral Bay St. John is working sun up to sun down clearing debris of demolished homes, impassable roads, helping with rescues, securing safe places for families with children to stay, depletely food supplies, no running water and they all need help ASAP! Supplies, tools, nonperishables, water, clothes, toiletries, prayers, shelter items, money.
...... We've asked Peter for a list ....priority items (if you will).
Multi meter amp with probe
Small portable generators - carry able
Pry bars
Chain saw oil
Gloves
Safety Glasses
Hammers, Wrenches, Socket sets, any tool
Bug Spray (Dengue fever is be on the rise)
2 stroke engine oil
Hygiene items
Clothes
Diapers, children items
......And I'm sure there will be things added to this list as the days, weeks, and months continue. But right now these things are needed right now!
If you can help in anyway, I, my family, and the community of Coral Bay St John U.S.V.I. thank you from the bottom of our heart. Please share this post
