Herb Ekstrom passed away on July 2, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. All of you who knew Herb were aware of his passion for supporting teachers and students, as well as the future of education. Before Herb passed away, the family decided to direct memorial donations to fund the Herb Ekstrom Education Scholarship, which will be given to high school graduates who are perusing a career in education. Donations will be deposited into the Herb Ekstrom Education Scholarship at MidOregon Credit Union. You can also mail a check made out to the Herb Ekstrom Education Scholarship at the MidOregon Credit Union, PO Box 6749 Bend, Oregon 97708-6749.
This scholarship is an official donation account registered in the state of Oregon and with the IRS.
