Hi, I’m Andy — Aiden’s dad and chief adventure sidekick. We’re raising funds to upgrade Aiden’s trusty eight-year-old Quantum chair to a new, shiny, Quantum Edge model — think of it as giving him a supercharged boost of independence!
To kick things off, I’ll be crawling, climbing, and zip-lining through the Ultimate Xtreme Challenge at Go Below in North Wales, alongside Aiden’s care team leader Natalie, and a representative from Quantum Rehab UK and Stealth Products .
Oh and there's a 70ft free fall jump as well!
We’re tackling this underground adventure so Aiden can move even easier above ground. Every donation brings him one step closer to freedom — literally and figuratively.
The Full Story
Aiden is an incredible young man whose determination, positivity, and sense of humor inspire everyone around him. As a disability advocate and content creator, he proves every day that with the right equipment, people, and support, anything is possible.
His current Quantum chair has been amazing for the past eight years, but it’s time for an upgrade — a more functional, versatile, and comfortable model that matches his growing independence and daily ambitions. The Quantum Edge power chair will let him:
- Move safely, comfortably, and independently
- Participate in daily adventures with less effort
- Continue creating content and advocating for accessibility
- Live life as fully as possible
To get the ball rolling (and climb some ladders, abseil some drops, and zipline underground, did i mention the 70ft freefall jump?), I’ll be taking on the Ultimate Xtreme Challenge at Go Below, North Wales. I’ll be joined by Natalie, Aiden’s care team leader, and a representative from Quantum Rehab UK and Stealth Products — making this a multi-partner effort to show that with the right support, any barrier can be overcome.
We’ll be sharing pre-event prep, live action from the day, and post-event highlights, so you can follow the chaos, celebrate the milestones, and see exactly how your donations make a difference.
Every contribution — big or small — brings Aiden closer to a wheelchair that will give him more freedom, independence, and the ability to take on life head-on. If you can’t donate, sharing the campaign with friends, family, or colleagues helps just as much!
Thank you for joining us on this adventure, and for helping Aiden dig deep to rise above the challenges he faces every day.
