EBOLA in Liberia Since February, Liberia and its neighboring countries have been in the grips of the farthest reaching and most deadly Ebola outbreak in history. So far, the current epidemic has claimed the lives of more than sixty percent of it’s over five thousand victims. Here at AIM, we believe that we can help to fill the gap in healthcare resources and reverse the trend of this worsening epidemic.

IN­‐KIND donations to AIMs Ebola response project should be coordinated with AIM leadership for cross-­‐reference with the needs projections from the Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Health’s Situation Reports. Goods will be received by our operational partners in Liberia, including the Rotary Club of Monrovia, and will care for patients, protect health workers and stem the spread of the virus within the general population.

CASH donations ARE GREATLY NEEDED to secure additional consignments of supplies, to consolidate donated goods into sea freight containers and to cover the cost of shipping to Liberia. As much as possible, AIM will combine shipments with other organizations in order to minimize the freight forwarding costs to each partner.
